Brief History of the Public Authority & Context of its Formation:
Bishnu Samantaray College, Nuahat, Jajpur was established in 1980, In 1980 the college was affiliated to Utkal University . The college organizes seminars, symposia, holds special feed back classes, conducts practical classes and half-yearly examinations, displays wall-magazine, News bulletins and other Co-curricular activities.

This Institution has now reached a new horizon in respect of following achievements:

This Institution has well-furnished rooms, Toilets for the staff & Students. There is well-planned water supply system. The college is surrounded by green forestation which creates a peaceful & beautiful environment conducive for study. College provides good, well-equipped sophisticated library & Laboratory for the students.

The first year degree classes at the B.A. stages were started in 1989. The second and the third year Degree Classes were opened within the years that followed. In the year 1992 the first batch of Graduates came out of the College. +2 Science Stream was opened in the year 1998. It imparts teachings in Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics and Biology. More »
